  1. Does CARE sell recycled appliances because of the Recycling in the name? 

Not at all. All appliances for sale are brand new and unopened. The Recycling in CARE is to illustrate the importance CARE gives to recycling of your used and old appliances in an effort to do its part to reduce wasteful energy consumption and to safely recycle refrigerants out of the old appliances which are harmful for the environment. 

 

  1. Does CARE deliver outside of Ontario? 

Not at this time.

 

  1. Can I have my appliances professionally installed? 

CARE does offer professional installation via our delivery partners. However, please note that due to the COVID-19 precautionary measures, CARE has suspended all in-home installations at this time.

 

  1. Will the appliance fit in my home or designated area?

CARE offers dimensions for all our appliances on our website. We recommend measuring the space of where the appliance is intended to move into beforehand and comparing it to the dimensions on our website before placing an order. Please note that orders that you wish to return due to fitting issues will lead to a 20% restocking fee.

 

  1. What are your delivery fees? 

CARE offers free in-home delivery for all our large appliances (refrigerators / freezers / air conditioners / dehumidifiers etc.).

However, there are delivery fees associated with all tabletop appliances. 

 

  1. How long will it take to deliver my appliance? What is the delivery process?

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, our delivery timeframe for large appliances can take upto eight (8) weeks from the order date. Our delivery team will be in contact with you to schedule a date and 4 hour time window for the appointment.

If our planned delivery date is not convenient, please contact us to reschedule, allowing at least 48 hours notice. If you need to reschedule within less than 48 hours notice, or if you are not at home when our delivery team arrives, an additional delivery fee will be payable before we reschedule. The day before delivery, we will call you with a 4-hour time frame during which you can expect our team. The recipient present at time of delivery must be of legal age.

 

  1. What happens if my appliance arrives damaged? 

We strongly recommend to all our customers to fully inspect the appliance before the delivery team leaves your home. If an appliance is received and is found to have either a concealed damage or is not working during the delivery, that appliance can be picked up immediately and returned for an exchange or a full refund based on your preference. However, please note that if the damage or defective product is noticed after the delivery team leaves your location, you will then have to contact the manufacturer with regards the appliance. We will appreciate your patience and understanding in the matter.

 

  1. Are my appliances covered under a warranty? 

All appliance purchased via CARE comes with a one (1) year manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery. CARE will be providing you with a physical receipt that can be used to register your appliance for warranty purposes

 

  1. Can I cancel or reschedule my order?

Orders can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the delivery day without any fee.

Cancellations occurring less than 48-hour time frame to the delivery day will require a 20% cancellation fee.

If you need to reschedule within less than 48 hours notice, or if you are not at home when our delivery team arrives, an additional delivery fee will be payable before we reschedule. Of course, you can choose to pick up your product from our warehouse location in your area. The recipient present at time of delivery must be of legal age.

 

  1. What is CARE's return or exchange policy? 

CARE only offers return or exchange on an appliance that has concealed damage or is not operational at the time of delivery. For any issues occurring after the delivery team leaves, the customer will then have to contact the manufacturer directly for any concerns.

 

   11. What are the payment options at CARE?

At this time, CARE accepts payments via PayPal and major credit cards.
